Course Terms and Conditions

Welcome to Synclusiv’s Disrupting Bias workshops! 

The following terms and conditions apply to all companies and or persons or other entities (“Participant”) that are attending any workshop (“Workshop”) organized by Synclusiv (“we” or “us”). Please ensure you have read and understand the following: 

(1) Acceptance of terms & conditions

By completing the registration form for a particular workshop, you are agreeing to the terms and conditions set out below (“Terms”) and they will be incorporated into the contract between us (“Contract”). You will ensure that your employees, partners, agents, contractors, subcontractors, and any other person attending the Workshop on your behalf shall comply with these Terms. The Contract is formed when we send you a confirmation of registration. 

(2) Registration 

Once the registration is complete and in the possession of Synclusiv, the registration is complete.  The Participant and/or his/her/their employer agrees to the following: 

(a) Payment 

The fee for attending the Workshop (“Registration Fee”) will be as stated on the registration form for the relevant Workshop. Prices are exclusive of Synclusiv except where expressly stated otherwise. All payments for the Registration Fee must be made in full at the time of completing the registration form and in any event prior to the date of the Workshop. If payment is not received within 7 days of your registration, your registration will be canceled, and the payment of any refund will be at our complete discretion. Payment will be made via our merchant account provider (and you consent to us passing your necessary details to the merchant account provider and to them processing necessary information about you) or directly to our bank account, as notified to you. We reserve the right to run price promotions as we think fit. 

(b) Refunds 

The Workshop shall be non-refundable except as set out in paragraphs c and d below. However, if you are unable to attend the Workshop for any reason you may email us at workshops@synclusiv.com email to provide us with the name of a substitute to attend the Workshop on your behalf, and on receipt of this email, we shall make such substitution, and allow the substitute access to the Workshop. There will be a $15 administration fee for making such a substitution. 

(c) Number of Participants 

The workshop will take place with a minimum of 10 participants.  The workshop can accommodate up to 20 participants.  If the minimum number of participants is not met 7 days before the training, the people registered will then be proposed alternative date(s). If no alternative date is possible for the Participant, they will be issued a full reimbursement.   

  1. Absence 

If the Participant is absent during the workshop, the payment obligation remains.  No reimbursement will be issued.  

  1. Workshop material 

It is prohibited to sell the workshop material and/or to partly or completely copy it or give it to a third party.  The copyright and ownership belong to Synclusiv.  

  1. Changing workshop dates 

Being unable to attend does not entitle the Participant to a refund or dissolution of the agreement. If due to personal circumstances, a workshop cannot be participated in, it is possible to postpone the course to the next course possibility, at a charge of a $15 administration fee. The rescheduling of a course must be submitted in written format to workshops@synclusiv.com and must be in Synclusiv’s possession at least 5 working days in advance. If it is not possible to reschedule a course within one week before the start of the course. Replacement of the Participant in a course by a third party is possible at a charge of 15$ administration fee. A request for replacement must be submitted in written format to workshops@synclusiv.com and be in Synclusiv’s possession at least three working days before the start of the course. 

  1. Liability and disclaimer 

Our sole liability in relation to any cancellation, postponement, or change of venue shall be limited to the price paid by you for such Workshop and we shall not be liable under any circumstances for any consequential losses. 

In providing this workshop, no person is acting as your solicitor or providing you with legal advice. We are providing you with training, template documents, and guidance. 

BY COMPLETING THE REGISTRATION FORM FOR A PARTICULAR WORKSHOP (1) YOU ACKNOWLEDGE THAT YOU HAVE READ THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS FULLY, THAT YOU UNDERSTAND THEM, AND THAT YOU UNDERSTAND YOU ARE CONTRACTING ON AN ELECTRONIC BASIS, AND (2) YOU ACCEPT AND AGREE TO BE BOUND AS THE PARTICIPANT BY AND AGREE TO ALL OF ITS TERMS AND PROVISIONS.
